Workshop Content
This 8 hrs (8*45mim) or 5 hrs (5*45min) seminar focuses on a series of introductory five-minute warmers, 10-25+ minutes icebreakers and 5-15+ minute fillers for all ages and levels. Their main purpose, as the names suggest, is to engage learners, spark their curiosity, and help them feel more comfortable and connected with both the language and each other. During the session, participants will have the chance to try out each activity themselves and explore how they can be adapted for different age groups and teaching contexts.
In other words, you will go through and practice these different activities as if you were students. In small groups you will get to reflect on them while discussing them with other teachers. You will also have a look at other activities and discuss their usefulness for your classroom practice. There will also be additional space to share your personal experience and preferred classroom activities with the other participants in small groups. Finally, there will be a moment for Q&A and some final reflection and feedback.
